US airstrikes likely killed 26 civilians

"The inability to discern the presence of civilians and assess the potential collateral damage of those strikes is inconsistent with the US government's objective of providing security and safety for the Afghan people," the report prepared by US Central Command said.

Might one inquire how a B-1 bomber crew is supposed to account for civilians on the ground with the bombs they drop?  From an altitude where  at best individuals look like ants.  And dropping bombs that can kill everything unprotected within a 17 football field radius?

The people respnsible are the people who ordered the bomber over there, ordered bombs be sent over there and loaded into the plane,  and ordered bombs be dropped on the target.  Of course they are also the one's in charge of determining who is responsible for the bad press.  They are 'not me.'
