If the US blindly follows Israel into Iran, it will be shooting itself on the foot.  The American Empire is already taxed to the limit between Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan, if they go into Iran, that will be the end of the empire - oil or not.  The corporations that are causing all of this chaos ain't in it to pay but, rather, to be paid so the government can count to them to foot the bill and China sure as hell ain't gonna be financing that one.
