Join Cops for Coffee Next Week (Ahwatukee Residents)

• Ahwatukee News

The Phoenix police, community activists, Block Watch members and residents will sit down for coffee Thursday for another ’Tukee Talk, an opportunity for the public to ask questions of officers who patrol Ahwatukee Foothills.

The timing of the gathering comes just as the City Council finalized a budget that, while not resulting in police or fire layoffs, will cause changes in some public safety operations.

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the police substation at Pecos Park Community Center, 17010 S. 48th St.

The coffee klatch provides an opportunity for people to ask officers about local crime trends, crime prevention tips or updates on local changes.

I live there.  I'll bring them some OathKeepers flyers and some AF2F/tOD DVDs!

Any Oathkeepers out there in Ahwatukee?  Looks like a prime opportunity to give out some DVD's and have a friendly chat with the guys with the guns...
