Defense dept. orders Wikileaks to remove top secret military documents (video)

According to pentagon spokesman Geoff Morell, WikiLeaks has been ordered by the U.S. Defense Department to return secret military documents they leaked on the Internet. The defense department wants the whistle-blowing website to remove all classified documents from its servers, and to purge its entire system.

How is it possible for the Department of Warmongering to order Wikileaks to remove anything when they are not even located in the US?  Surely, Julian doesn't have to abide by anything the Amerikans order him to do.  He should just fart in their general direction and tell them to do some physically impossible.

I found it interesting last night, that both "The NY Times" and "The Washington Post" released articles on this under their own reporter's byline that were word for word virtually identical.  Clearly a press release meant to convey marching orders to the MSM.
