Police cuts might be a good thing for Camden. In 1974/5 the Albaquerque, NM police dept went on strike with all but nine officers and management staff walking out. The result? - they had a crime rate drop of about 40%. When one well known bad-boy was asked why he wasen't taking advantage of the strike he replied, "The people got their guns out." How do I know? I was there.
