Marine Corps Gen. John Allen told a Pentagon news conference that an
F-16 airstrike Monday took out fewer than 10 insurgents involved in the
attack on the Chinook helicopter.
Odd, only two days before the military was so incompetent they sent a large group of (reportedly) specialized troops in a single slow moving chopper to rescue other specialized troops and ended up with all killed by the Teliban with a RPG. Then suddenly the military gets extremely competent, identifies and locates those same Teliban and blows them to hell with a single air strike.
