10/18/2011 7 AM CST Ron Paul goes over his Restoring America spending
cut plan on CNBC's Squawk on the Street with Joe Kernan and Andrew Ross
Sorkin, which entails cutting $1 trillion in Federal spending within a
year's time. Federal bureaucracies such as the Department of Education
are on the hit list for cuts or elimination as well as overseas
spending. Social security and medicare is not on the chopping block,
although Dr. Paul wants to give 25 year old people the opportunity to
opt out of the social security program.
