I'm sitting here watching the History Channel series on the Vietnam War while I look through some back issues of Liberty magazine as I do some research. I was thinking how the war was such a
terrible and senseless waste of Vietnamese and American lives and trying
to think of something to blog about it when I came across this
statement on the Vietnam War by Sheldon Richman in the Nov. 1988 issue
of Liberty: "The tragedy of Vietnam is not that 'we' did not
win it. It is that Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, and
their people were so presumptuous as to think that Vietnam was theirs to
dispose of."

MANY AMERICANS BELIEVE WHAT THE NEWS MEDIA TOLD THEM ABOUT VIET NAM , WELL I WAS THERE SEVERAL TIMES AND I CAN SAY THAT THE U.S.MILITARY WON ALL BATTLES AGAINST THE V.C. ANS NVA , IT WAS A DEMOCRATIS CONGRESS THAT LOST THE WAR BY REFUSING TO GIVE MILITARY AID (WEAPONS , AMMUNITION etc.) TO THE SOUTH VIETNAMESE TO FIGHT AND WIN !
