2 arrested after fight, shooting at Hendersonville apartment

A neighbor armed with a shotgun who rushed in to stop a fight inside a Hendersonville apartment is facing his own set of charges.

Officers responded to a shots fired call at an apartment on Waterview Circle and determined that a man, identified as Charles Ferrell, 29, and a woman had been living together at the residence.

Police determined that Ferrell attacked the woman, causing some minor bodily injury. During the assault, the female victim was physically forced into a bedroom. Police said when she left the bedroom, she was physically assaulted and threatened with a knife.

So the perp was charged with attempted first degree murder! And the guy responsible for preventing it being first degree murder gets charged with reckless endangering the lives of both the victim and the perp. For using a shotgun on a guy with a knife. Guess it is true, the cops really hate the competition! Better hope the apartment community really does band together and support their hero" or you are fucked buddy. Don't take a plea and shut your piehole.

So now it's illegal to protect or save someone else from harm or an attacker?
