SPAIN IS DOWN OVER 3%, ITALY IS OFF 2.7%

UPDATE: In the last few minutes, the Italian FTSE MIB just fell a lot more, now down 2.70 percent.
Core Europe has also taken a hit, with the DAX and CAC 40 both off about 1.7 pecent.
U.S. stocks are also in the red, with the Dow off 0.64 percent.
