It may seem painless, but drone war in Afghanistan is destroying the West's reputation

• Peter Oborne
Drones, supposedly supported by the military establishment in the West, have sparked controversy in countries like Pakistan as they are being increasingly used to wage covert warfare. As the deaths of unintended targets pile up, the refusal of the masses in the West to decry to use of these killing machines draws criticism and harbors distrust in Eastern countries. Though they are touted as a way to wage war sans mass soldier casualties, these drones frequently kill innocent people. When we are so far removed from the brutality of war because we use robots to kill people for us, it says a lot about the moral fiber of the leaders and people of this country.

Destroying our reputation? MG  we can't have that. Never mind the thousands of innocent lives including children being murdered. Who wrote this head line? This world is just sick ,sick sick.
