106 Government Agencies Gain Permission to Use Drones ‘Domestically’

10-25-2012  •  www.ijreview.com
These are interesting times to say the least.  Whether We the People like it or not, the world is changing rapidly, especially concerning how the citizenry is governed.  As I have said before on several occasions, a strong government is necessary to maintain law and order.  However, when corporate entities and the US government decide that those very same laws that have maintained peace, prosperity, and stability are merely an obstacle to their power, then tyranny is at the door.

In a recent article from CNSNews.com, it states that 106 government agencies have been able to acquire FAA authorization to deploy drones to fly over American cities, towns, farms, villages, gardens, parks, schools, and churches.

We are now on the edge of a new horizon: using unmanned aerial systems within the homeland,” House Homeland Security Oversight Subcommittee Chairman Michael McCaul (R.-Texas) said as he introduced the testimony.”

The video on this source shows McCaul giving the statement with apparent satisfaction.  This is a tremendous expansion of police, military, and agency powers, and when one is reminded of the most recent National Defense Authorization Act of 2012, the implications become even more nightmarish.  Erik Kain, a contributor to Forbes.com, has choice words for the NDAA:

If Obama does one thing for the remainder of his presidency let it be a veto of the National Defense Authorization Act – a law recently passed by the Senate which would place domestic terror investigations and interrogations into the hands of the military and which would open the door for trial-free, indefinite detention of anyone, including American citizens, so long as the government calls them terrorists.”

"As I have said before on several occasions, a strong government is necessary to maintain law and order."
"As I have said before on several occasions, zero government is necessary to maintain law and order."
Which of the above quotes would be most likely to support this: "106 Government Agencies Gain Permission to Use Drones ‘Domestically’"?
