Internet and technology based companies have begun releasing details on
U.S. government requests for customer data. The details are part of a
new agreement reached last month between the tech companies and the
government. Companies are releasing details on the number of National
Security Letters (NSL) they received. Google, Microsoft, Facebook,
Yahoo, Apple and LinkedIn are among the companies involved in the data
release.
