5 Comments in Response to 'Israel is not an Occupier'
From the article:
"If US focuses on truth and justice we'll realize that Israel has been there for 3,000 years - the same language, the same people, the same culture for 3,000 years - and it's always astonishing to me that we somehow now think that they're the occupiers."
There is only one, and absolutely one, reason that Israel exists and has existed at all. It's because God promised Abraham that He would make Abraham into a great nation.
There are two Israels:
1. The nation on the eastern shores of the Mediterranean;
2. The people who believe in the God of Abraham, that He will send / has sent the Messiah, Jesus, to save all the people of the world who will accept God with all their heart as Abraham did - one God.
The only 2 reasons Israel #1 exists as it does are:
1. God will not allow His great name to be trampled on by men, by allowing the name of Israel to be destroyed entirely off the face of the earth;
2. That Israel #1 is following to some reasonable extent, the laws found in the Torah, the first 5 books of the Old Testament.
Israel #2 is an Israel of the heart. People who follow God with the faith of Abraham make up this Israel. Such people can be found all over the world. For the last 300 - 500 years, the lands in the areas of what is now the United States of America, have been areas where many of these people have lived.
Both Israels allow any people who accept their respective "ways," to become "citizens" of their respective Israel. Many people are citizens of both Israels in their hearts. Few people in Israel #1 are citizens of both Israels.
There will come a time - right at the time just preceding the end of the world, and the return of Jesus - when many of the people in Israel #1 will become citizens of Israel #2 as well. Then Jesus will come. He will combine the Israels into one. He will take His people to the new universe the Father is preparing for them. This present universe will be dissolved into a lake of fire as its energies are disassembled into their component parts, and returned to God to be used on other projects.
Before long no one is going to occupy shit
This is paramount to all life on this planet and if it is not stopped right now, nothing else on this planet will matter.

If you are most comfortable weighing the integrity of a policy through the lens of "argumentum ad hominem" (Stephen Lendman is a Freedom's Phoenix 'Featured' columnist, after all), here is more grist for your mill:
If Trent Franks is on your side . . . you've lost.
