Why YOU Should Get Involved in Ham Radio

We talked about work, hobbies, weather in England, and several other topics before bidding adieu. When I tell people about ham radio they commonly reply – “Why would I do that when I have a cell phone and the internet?” It’s a valid question. Ham radio isn’t just about communicating with others out of necessity. It’s a science. It’s an art. Many ham operators build their own radios and operating a radio you’ve built is pretty exciting.
