The government of North Korea has taken an American hostage, due to having a bible in his hotel room.
Jeffrey Edward Fowle entered the secretive nation on April 29th, as a tourist. The American government is advising tourists to stay away from that country. Mathew Todd Miller is also being held. He destroyed his Visa in Pyongyang, and asked for asylum. He was arrested, instead of being provided sanctuary. Kenneth Bae, a missionary from the United States, was taken into custody by the North Koreans in 2012.
This is the third American currently being held by the government of Kim Jung Un.
