The alleged image is a good fake, but not that good. A proper examination reveals two proofs that the image isn't genuine. First the aircraft's scale is all wrong. Second the background is a Google Earth image from September 2011. So at best it might be termed a hypothetical depiction of the event.
The article goes on to speculate as to the motive behind the creation and release of the image. However, the only thing that can be said for certain is that any site that tries to pass this image off as genuine, wittingly or not, is promoting a fraud. So, caveat emptor.
