I've been personally hoping for this for some time.

I use a Windows Phone, and there are a few apps that I've considered buying, but process of buying them using conventional payment methods has been frustrating enough to put me off of ever having bought an App for my phone.

This morning I went to purchase one of the apps that I've been "demoing" for some time and learned that to use bitcoin to purchase it I would have to first go to the Microsoft website and buy a gift card, which would be added to my account allowing me to perform on-phone purchases.

I think it's a good first step, but it's not yet harnessing the real power and ease of use that Bitcoin technology can provide.
