That's probably why so many have been left to stew in their own juices. OK, there are still things to be done, but with robotics and automation taking over, there is less and less incentive for a company to treat someone as human, even if they are.
And there is less reason still to win over their loyalty and entice them to stay with the company by offering stability through benefits. The market today is changing rapidly with technology and the relationship with workers is anything but permanent. It just doesn't pay to do otherwise.
