Farm dinner ~ Farm tour/Vendor market ~ Veggie list 3/5/16 ~ Greens sale ~ Market volunteers ~ Volunteer/Positions ~ Selling locations

It was a very busy weekend for the markets and dinner ticket sales.  Tonopah Rob will be at the farm stand this weekend, selling tickets so come on over and buy your tickets.  We are getting close to capacity.  For those that said they are coming and have not paid please do so as soon as possible. There isn't much seating left.

Also, the main entrée will be gluten-free and several of the items will be gluten-free and other dishes will be vegetarian.  If you are a vegetarian and/or need a gluten-free meal, the dinner will offer both choices along with the meat lover dishes. Chef Wolf said "not all the dishes will be gluten-free or vegetarian but most of them will be served that way."  He continued to say, "your vegetables are already awesome so we don't need to add too much because the flavors rock."  Again, it will be a great date night, and a yummilicious meal to enjoy, very cool, eh?

If you are interested in purchasing tickets please contact Tonopah Rob by email or phone.  Here are the numbers.  Since I, Tonopah Rob do not have a cell phone please call the farms land line at 623 386 3033, leave a message, I will call you back. Email address is tonopahrob@gmail.com.  This is really exciting nearly everyone who participated last year is coming again and lots of seats have already been paid and reserved.  There are only four weeks left until it's crunch time, so hurry and call in your spot.  Here is the link to pay online.  http://www.intothesoup.com/dine-under-the-stars-with-tonopah-robs-fresh-farm-march-19th/

Tonopah Rob is seeking volunteers to help with the weeding of the farm, selling at farmers markets and harvesting and cleaning of the veggies.  Please contact Rob through email or by phone. Information is up in the right corner in the information box.

Tonopah Rob is having a huge leafy greens sale.  Spinach, chard, kale and an arugula mix is on sale for 2.50/lb. Come on over and stuff your bag at the farm stand…the sale is only at the farm.

Here's the veggie list:   Leafy Greens, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, beets, carrots, assorted radishes, assorted turnips and salad sweeties, fresh eggs, all kinds of citrus, maybe lettuce heads and more.

Tonopah Rob's Vegetable Farm is accepting applications for full/part-time help.  A hub manager/inventory/produce washer is needed throughout the week. Each week of work will vary depending the harvest load. Part time help is needed to weed, transplant and many other tasks on the farm.  If you know of a Boy Scout troop needing to earn badges, a church group to volunteer, anyone whom will enjoy a day of peace and quiet, enjoy the birds and chickens singing and clucking. Rob desperately needs many a volunteer to help pull weeds.  Depending on the amount of volunteer help, Rob can offer a CSA share to compensate for the work.  If you know anyone needing a job or wants to volunteer hours please contact Rob.
