Jim Hoft for the Gateway Pundit reports The entire Garfield High School football team including coaches refused to stand for the National Anthem on Friday night.This anti-police movement is spreading.

Sorry about the repeat below... However, I wonder how many of those team members felt and/or were pressured to conform to the no-stand issue by fellow teammates/coaches/sponsors, etc.?

The Sedition Act of 1918 should be re-enacted - that is, if it was ever repealed. From Wikipedia: "In law, sedition is overt conduct, such as speech and organization, that tends toward insurrection against the established order. Sedition often includes subversion of a constitution and incitement of discontent (or resistance) to lawful authority.... "A revolt or an incitement to revolt against established authority, usually in the form of treason or defamation against government. Sedition is the crime of revolting or inciting revolt against government. However, because of the broad protection of free speech under the first amendment, prosecutions for sedition are rare."

When cops continue to murder unarmed citizens with impunity, it is past time to reconsider institutionalized violence, i.e., government. If these kinds of protests help do that, I'm all for them.
