Three Republican Senate leaders are demanding that Attorney General William Barr brief them on classified documents from the FBI's investigation into Hillary Clinton's email server.

The Washington Times reports, "The three senators — Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, who chairs the Judiciary Committee, Charles E. Grassley of Iowa, who chairs the finance committee, and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, who chairs Homeland Security and Government Affairs — wrote a letter to Mr. Barr demanding he provide additional details about classified material referenced in the Justice Department inspector general's report on the FBI's handling of the Clinton probe."

The senators cited the IG report in their letter and wrote, "In particular, the Inspector General noted that it learned that the FBI acquired classified material that 'may have included information potentially relevant to the Midyear investigation.' The FBI even drafted a memorandum in May of 2016 stating that access to the information was 'necessary to complete the investigation.'"
