Maryland Governor Expands COVID-19 Snitch Line, Says 'No Constitutional Right' To Go Maskles

"It's sort of like saying I have a constitutional right to drive drunk, I have a constitutional right to not wear a seat belt, or to yell 'fire' in a crowded movie theater, or to not follow the speed limit," said Hogan during a coronavirus press briefing reported by the Washington Times.

"We're talking about a quarter of a million people dying already — more than the Korean War, the Gulf War, and the Vietnam War added together," he continued, adding "Which part don't you understand? You wear the mask. There's no constitutional right to walk around without a mask. We did it in 1918, I don't know why we can't do it now."

(There was actually an anti-Mask league of San Francisco during the 1918 pandemic to protest mandatory masks - a law which lasted one month before being repealed.)

Our Constitutional right for almost anything is found in the 9th Amendment. This right for almost anything might extend to the easy elimination of government in any way, at least regarding us. But be careful to not use it while using it, at the same time, in court. The 9th Amendment, https://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/ninth_amendment, "Amendment IX - The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people." Which other rights? Any rights that you see fit, as long as you don't harm or directly threaten other people, or damage their property. So, the Gov is right regarding a direct Constitutional right, but he is wrong regarding rights retained by the people.

We have a right as humans, forget the Constitution and Bill of Rights, as these governors have done. And despite their oath of defending same. OSHA regulations demonstrate lower oxygen levels when wearing masks, thus compromising our immune systems. It's obvious to me, the governors herd mentality is in the dumb section. Not even considering the health benefits of oxygen! Amazing. And these people are elected??

What is the 'constitutional justification' for mask mandates, seat belt mandates or speed limits? I for one don't see any.
