Jacob Engel, 27, was removed from the meeting after Chair of Orange County School Board Teresa Jacobs instructed police officers 

Engels, an InfoWars collaborator, had been reading an explicit sexual excerpt from 'Gender Queer'

'As a member of the LGBT community, the fact that this is floating around for children as young as ninth grade is concerning,' he said 

Other attendees of the meeting called out the board for their contradiction. Four copies of the book by Maia Kobabe were in three of the board's 22 high schools 

'This is the first time I've heard of this and the board has heard of this. We will look into it, and I do hope the book is removed. OK?' said Jacobs

OCPS Director of Media Relations Shari Bobinski said in a statement that the book has since been removed from the schools' libraries
