Amazon is secretly funding a group that's fighting new federal antitrust regulations and bills itself as 'grassroots'

The retail giant gave the group a donation of more than $1 million

Called The Competitiveness Coalition, the group is led by former Massachusetts GOP Senator Scott Brown

People are urged to write legislators regarding the American Innovation and Choice Online Act, which clamp down on firms like Amazon, Meta and Alphabet
