New Law in Washington State Prevents Police from From Chasing Criminals

• https://needtoknow.news by Gateway Pundit

All vehicular pursuits require permission from a commanding officer. Criminal suspects are calling 911 as they flee from police in order to report the officers for pursuing them. Criminals are calling the police on the police. The trend has spread to people who are pulled over for traffic stops.

The State of Washington, like most other Democrat-controlled areas, has experienced a massive spike in crime thanks to radical, felon-first policies that have emboldened criminals like never before.

Defund the police, no-cash bail, decriminalize hard drugs, etc… etc… this notoriously progressive state has tried it all.

However, one of the most ridiculous police 'reform' policies to be tried anywhere is currently wreaking havoc after it was implemented in the state last year. Passed overwhelmingly by the radicals in the state legislature, House Bill 1054 drastically limits the situations in which the state's police officers can engage in vehicular pursuits of criminals.

I don't know where the law is that says that police are not legally required to 'help' anyone. But it's there. It's an old law on the books somewhere. Since police are not required already, and since they are really supposed to be 'peace officers', what's the big deal about this? Get rid of them, at least as they are in their current 'policy operations' status. Then, strap on your guns and protect yourself until you can organize a form of police that is legal and does its work right.
