WATCH LIVE: Attorney General Nominee Pam Bondi Sits for Senate Confirmation Hearing...

• by Jordan Conradson

Former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi will face questions from Senators this morning during a confirmation hearing for U.S. Attorney General.

Bondi arrived this morning and was greeted by many cameras.

During the hearing, Bondi stood up for Kash Patel when Democrats attacked him and ironically accused Bondi and Patel of trying to weaponize the DOJ.

"Kash Patel has had 60 jury trials as a public defender, as a prosecutor. He has great experience in the intel department. I have known Kash and I believe that Kash is the right person at this time for this job," Bondi stated. "You'll have the ability to question Mr. Patel when you do."

Trump announced his nomination of Bondi for AG in November.

Bondi's hearing with the Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled for 9:30 am EST.

Bondi, the former Florida Attorney General, was nominated after Rep. Matt Gaetz withdrew his name as Trump's pick for AG.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump Department of Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth's first confirmation hearing was held yesterday and he passed the test in flying colors.

Following his hearing Republican Senator Joni Ernst announced she would support him as Defense Secretary, essentially sealing the deal for Hegseth.

Yesterday's hearing was explosive. The Democrats will attempt to grill and smear Bondi in a similar fashion as they did with Hegseth on Tuesday.

Pam Bondi has been a Trump loyalist for years.  In January 2020, Pam Bondi defended President Trump in his first faux impeachment by Nancy Pelosi and Democrats over a phone call to the Ukrainian president.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Bondi has vowed to clean out the Deep State.

"When Republicans take back the White House, you know what's going to happen? The Department of Justice, the prosecutors will be prosecuted, the bad ones," Bondi said.
