BREAKING: Sean 'Diddy' Combs Sentenced to More Than 4 Years in Prison

So, we've finally come to the climax of the long-running, high-profile criminal trial of disgraced rap mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

While Diddy was acquitted of the most serious charges of sex-trafficking and racketeering that could carry up to life in prison, he was still convicted on prostitution charges that could potentially see him serving up to 20 years' time.

The defense wanted him sentenced to 'time served' and walking out of prison soon after sentencing.

The Probation Service recommendation was from 60 to 87 months in prison.

The prosecution was asking for 135 months: over 11 years.

For Diddy, five lawyers spoke: Jason Driscoll, Brian Steel, Nicole Westmoreland, Xavier Donaldson and Marc Agnifilo.

The prosecutors' team had one less figure, as Maurene Comey fell in disgrace with Trump's DOJ even before her former FBI chief father James was indicted.

AUSA Christy Slavik complained that victim 'Mia' was no longer going to address the court due to bullying by defense – and the Judge agreed.

She defended the prosecution's at least 135 months

"AUSA Slavik: 'The defendant tries to argue this is just a sex, drugs & rock n' roll lifestyle. But this is a case about transportation for prostitution AND violence. The defendant admitted to the violence at trial. The defendant's respect for the law is lip service'."

Slavik further stated that Mr. Combs booked speaking engagements for Miami for next week. 'That is the height of hubris'.

Next the defense lawyers spoke.

Jason Driscoll talked about sentencing in similar cases, pointing out that Diddy made no money out of it.

Nicole Westmore sobbed as she described the rapper as 'an inspiration'.

The defendant's children approached and a 12-minute video was shown.
