A 21-year-old man carrying a shotgun and fuel can was shot and killed by secret service on Sunday after he breached the perimeter of President Trump's Mar-A-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, around 1:30 a.m.

Secret Service posted a statement explaining, "The individual, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced deceased."

"U.S. Secret Service agents and a PBSO deputy confronted the individual and shots were fired by law enforcement during the encounter. No U.S. Secret Service or PBSO personnel were injured. There were no Secret Service protectees present at the location at the time of the incident," the public announcement added. "The incident, including the individual's background, actions, potential motive, and the use of force, is under investigation by the FBI, the U.S. Secret Service, and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. In accordance with agency policy, the involved Secret Service agents will be placed on routine administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation."

"They are only going to turn it up!" Alex Jones noted on ????.

Jones also posted a Fox News interview where US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent suggested Democrats' increasing calls for violence inspired the third failed assassination attempt on POTUS.

"Two would-be assasins dead… one in jail for life… this venom coming from the other side… they are normalizing this violence it's got to stop," Bessent said.

A source familiar with the investigation anonymously told AP the deceased intruder was 21-year-old Austin Tucker Martin of North Carolina.

Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said during a press conference that the suspect "was ordered to drop those two pieces of equipment that he had with them. At which time he put down the gas can, raised the shotgun to a shooting position."

Two Secret Service agents and a sheriff's deputy "fired their weapons to neutralize the threat" when he pointed the rifle.

Sheriff Bradshaw later confirmed to Fox News that Martin was indeed the suspect.

The FBI is asking residents living near Mar-a-Lago to go through their home security footage to look for clues that could be helpful to law enforcement.

FBI Director Kash Patel wrote on social media, "FBI is dedicating all necessary resources in the investigation of this morning's incident at President Trump's Mar-A-Lago – where an armed individual was shot and killed after unlawfully entering the perimeter. We will continue working closely with."
