When is a Win not a Win?

I awaken this morning to see good news.  Too bad I am one of the few who see it as good.

Politico calls it “a sign of the intense following he enjoys and the waning relevance of the surveys”.  U. S. News and World Report outright trashes the victory of Congressman and “Champion of the Constitution” Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul at the 2011 CPAC Straw Poll this weekend (his second consecutive win), stating “CPAC Straw Poll Not Predictive of Eventual Nominee” in their headlines – and even give convincing data to back it up.  The L. A. Times gives mixed messages when they say in their first paragraph that Ron Paul ‘triumphed’ in the poll, but then goes on to say he ‘edged’ out Romney to win.

Looking from the outside, in, Reuters says that the results “showed Republicans have far to go to pick a challenger to President Barack Obama in 2012” and “The straw poll also provided evidence that there is room for someone else to come to the fore.  The poll said 56 percent of those surveyed were satisfied with the names they had seen so far as possible candidates, while 43 percent said they were not.”  They clearly discount Ron, saying that he “drew on his cult-like following” in order to win, while the AP wire smartly gives the facts – Ron won – and doesn’t offer any ‘commentary’.  Could it be that SOMEONE sees the writing on the wall?

I asked a fellow Activist fairly close to Ron not too long ago if they knew if he had actually decided to run (for POTUS) or not, and I was told – with a grin – “He’ll run.”  As I see the ‘Lamestream Media Machine’ cranking back up with its snide remarks against Ron, I somehow sense that they see it coming too.  If so, it should be any day now before the ‘official’ declaration goes out…

Then all hell breaks loose!

GOT SPRAY PAINT?

MUHAHA

They attempted to marginalize the man, that didn't work.

Someone once questioned me on the tactics of Ron Paul compared to other Neocon/Warhawks/GOP'ers.

They attempted to marginalize the movement, Then co-opted it and still a bulletproof idea lives on. Revolution is inevitable.. we are legion, we are united! FOR LIBERTY! RON PAUL 2012! Hi Ed;  Great article.  I will certainly be on the Ron Paul agenda.  A great American.

Most brainwashed Americans do not even know who Ron Paul is or what he

stands.  He is not given any positive reporting by the biased, anti-American, MSM.

Keep up the good fight.
