Dear Golden Transcript editor & RMPBS producers:  

Would you like to jump 10 years ahead with me?  By 2032, Colorado will have added 1,000,000 (million) more people, net gain, to our state.  They pour into Colorado like snowflakes falling into our mountains.  (Source: Colorado's population 2050, leg.colorado.gov) 

Question: do you have any idea what it's going to be like when Colorado jumps from 5.7 million to 6.7 million?  Do you understand that exponential growth always leads to collapse?  

Do you understand that we don't have the water, energy and resources for THAT many people?  Do you comprehend that such numbers accelerate catastrophic climate destabilization? Do you appreciate that our quality-of-life races to the bottom of the barrel?  

Can you understand that the toxic Brown Cloud will increase its poisons into every person living in Golden and Denver?  What about adding another million cars to Golden, Denver and/or the Front Range?  What do you think it will be like to go camping at Lake Dillon or skiing at any resort?

Anybody on Golden's City Council thinking about this looming debacle as they rubber- stamp more and more buildings and apartments in our city?  Exactly why are you and Golden's mayor doing this to your children and grandchildren?  What possesses you into such obvious folly and overpopulation insanity?

Why aren't the "leaders" of Golden using their minds, the projections and common sense to create: "Golden Population Stabilization Policy…Golden Quality of Life Policy…Golden Stop Growth Policy"?

You owe it to your children!
