If you’re like most asinine leftists, you’ve probably been a long time advocate of “Universal Healthcare” without ever having had the opportunity to experience the crappy, decrepit system first-hand… Well here’s your chance… And you better hold on tight, Buttercup, because it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

Incidentally, if you believe the government will not kidnap you at gunpoint and lock you in a concentration camp and possibly force you to take these toxins, check out Executive Order 13295 of April 4, 2003. It states that the government has the authority to establish “regulations providing for the apprehension, detention, or conditional release of individuals to prevent the introduction, transmission, or spread of suspected communicable diseases,” including diseases at that time “not yet isolated or named.”

What if you went to your doctor, suffering from congestive heart failure, and your doctor had been given a limited budget from your insurance company to treat you? If he were to go over cost, he would pay out of his own pocket. [comforting] If he spent less than the allotment — and you were satisfied with your treatment — he would keep some of the change.

Don’t ask, for the moment, why Congressional Democrats need to find an extra trillion dollars to pay for a socialized medicine scheme they insist will “reduce costs.” We’re WAY too far into Wonderland to worry about that.

A plan working  its way through the Senate would require individuals to purchase health care or be fined a minimum of $1,000 annually. The plan would be enforced by the IRS via the federal income tax system.   Government will of course send men with guns around to anyone who refuses to pay the fine. If individuals resist the men with guns, they will most likely be shot.   This is how government intends to make sure everyone has health insurance - at the end of the barrel of a gun...

Americans who refuse to buy affordable medical coverage could be hit with fines of more than $1,000 under a health care overhaul bill unveiled by key Senate Democrats looking to fulfill President Barack Obama's top domestic priority. The Congressional Budget Office estimated the fines will raise around $36 billion over 10 years. Senate aides said the penalties would be modeled on the approach taken by Massachusetts, which now imposes a fine of about $1,000 a year on individuals who refuse to get coverage. Under the federal legislation, families would pay higher penalties than individuals.

This report describes part of the problem. The other part is that the billing and finance system is rigged to siphon a large piece of the cash flow away from the health industry unnecessarily into the hands of capital providers. The immediate result is that the top third is paying twice what the service should cost, the middle third is been rationed and the bottom third is told to go whistle.

Swine Flu News

Some 500,000 New Yorkers might have been infected with A/H1N1 flu virus, New York Post reported Saturday citing federal official sources. The number is far more than initially estimated by the city's health department. The new data is reportedly based on a community survey that found 6.9 percent of New Yorkers experienced a flu-like illness during a three-week period in May when the illness was at its most active.....

Six states are currently looking to add an “opt out” law to their books to protect citizens from the possibility of a national healthcare plan imposed by federal fiat. Arizona started the ball rolling by introducing the Health Care Freedom Act, a voting initiative that will be put before voters on the 2010 ballot. If accepted by the majority of the voters, Arizona will be able to opt out of any federal healthcare laws passed by Washington. Indiana, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Dakota and Wyoming are considering similar measures.

Right on the heels of a successful state-by-state nullification of the 2005 Real ID act, the State of Arizona is out in the forefront of a growing resistance to proposed federal health care legislation.

This past Monday, the Arizona State Senate voted 18-11 to concur with the House and approve the Health Care Freedom Act (HCR2014).  This will put a proposal on the 2010 ballot which would constitutionally override any law, rule or regulation that requires individuals or employers to participate in any particular health care system.

In a stunning moment of honesty during ABC’s infomercial for ObamaCare, President Obama admitted that it wouldn’t be good enough for his family. It’s not about healthcare, it’s about expanding government power. Every single politician promoting socialized medicine knows it won’t affect them or their family. Congress will exempt themselves from the rules just like they do for every law they pass. They don’t care because they don’t have to.

Obama hits back at insurance companies for opposing public option. It took a few months, but tensions between the Obama administration and private health insurers seem to be coming to a head. In a White House press conference Tuesday, President Barack Obama described a government-run health care option as "an important tool to discipline insurance companies" and brushed aside criticism that such a plan would ruin the industry.

With our out of control federal government on life support due to gross mismanagement and fiscal irresponsibility over the past 40 years, it shocks me that anyone would support surrendering even more power to Fedzilla. Fedzilla is the most poorly organized, inefficient, most costly bureaucracy the world has ever witnessed. Anyone who argues that this bureaucratic nightmare train wreck should be put in charge of our health care -- one sixth of the nation's economy -- is either a Fedzilla stooge or on LSD, or both. There is no other explanation. It is that bizzarro.

Every minute of every day, Americans are subjected to politicians and media pundits talking gibberish. There really is no other word for it, whether the particular subject is economics, foreign policy, or even climatology. However, the gibberish that is getting the most attention right now concerns health care "reform." President Obama is leading the Democrats with the familiar socialist model that has failed in every industrialized nation in which it has been tried...

Targeting children for vaccination may be the best way of using limited supplies of vaccine to control the current H1N1 flu pandemic, British researchers said.

Drugmakers are racing to make a vaccine against the new flu strain but if the disease increases significantly in the northern hemisphere autumn, as many experts fear, there are unlikely to be enough shots to vaccinate entire populations.

But the more important Senate Finance Committee announced it would delay action, as senators sought to retool their proposals to slash the cost by more than one-third, from an initial $1.6 trillion over 10 years, to less than $1 trillion. Of the five major panels working on health care, Finance has the best odds of coming up with a bipartisan proposal that could overcome gathering opposition.

Barack Obama – the opponents of this plan are lying. I am not trying to take over the medical industry with government. First of all, Mr. President – I am not lying, I just know how you and your type run things that are meant to be good into major problems by piling on.Example: Smoking – first you go from non smoking sections in airplanes in the 60’s to total government control in 2009. The fact is – you said you weren’t trying to take over the auto industry. Why should we believe you now?

Jolted by cost estimates as high as $1.6 trillion, Senate Democrats agreed to scale back planned subsidies for the uninsured and sought concessions totaling hundreds of billions of dollars from private industry Tuesday to defray the cost of sweeping health care legislation. At the same time, key Democrats disagreed openly among themselves over a proposed tax on health insurance benefits to pay for expanding coverage to the uninsured.

President Barack Obama proposed budget rules that would allow Congress to borrow tens of billions of dollars and put the nation deeper in debt to jump-start the administration's emerging health care overhaul.

The "pay-as-you-go" budget formula plan is significantly weaker than a proposal Obama issued with little fanfare last month.

Where are we to turn as the United States retreats from its roots, and begins to institute a socialistic agenda? Are we a country of and by the people anymore?

Obama and crew would like to create a national health care program in which every person must submit, possible life saving care, to the Federal government. Based on their record of accomplishment, I wouldn’t trust them to watch my dog, clean my pool, or even change the lining in my cockatiel’s cage.
