Surviving the Middle Class Crash

Organic food enthusiasts watch out! You are mentally ill, need treatment, and should be checked into a clinic or treatment center. I guess the docs feel that if you can afford to eat healthy, you can afford the thousand dollars it costs for one month’s worth of therapy to cure your obsession with wanting to be healthy.

. During his introductory speech, after hammering the Democrats for trying to push through the “public option” (a euphemism for socialized healthcare), he then went on to describe ways healthcare costs could be brought down, emphasizing, “We have the best quality healthcare in the world

China has launched a national organ donation system to try to reduce its dependence on body parts harvested from executed prisoners, who make up the majority of donors.

Organ transplantation in China has long been criticized as profit-driven and unethical, with critics arguing death row inmates may feel pressured to become donors, violating personal, religious or cultural beliefs.

I don't know if you have seen the latest news regarding Union Members and $10 Billion being shuffled in for them in the healthcare bill? I am wondering how this is going to sit with the other Animals in BO's kingdom who will get no COLA increase and will in effect have their standard of living reduced since for some their Medicaire Premium's Part B the cost is rising and Part D for all will also go up. All this taking place while at the same time The Obama administration, citing an economic downturn that has been deeper than it had first thought, raised its estimate of the government's deficit over the next decade to $9 trillion from $7.1 trillion. That of couse does not factor in the interest rate on our Debt or other NEW spending. There is a lesson to be learned from all of this. In Banana Republics and all forms of government that end with an "ism" some animals are MORE equal then others!

We can’t afford to put everything on hold, they move forward with everyday that passes. The politics behind the plan for vaccines is convoluted, and has been in the works for so many years it would take a book to expose all the people, companies, and governments involved

Obama has referenced the biblical commandment against perjury to call opponents of his plan liars because they assert that the takeover would lead to “death panels” curtailing care to the elderly, or to expansive taxpayer funding of abortion.

Apparently so since many of the Pigs in Government do not seem to think they should drink from the same trough as the rest of us. I think what is good for the goose is good for the gander, do you agree? On Tuesday, the Senate health committee voted 12-11 in favor of a two-page amendment courtesy of Republican Tom Coburn that would require all Members and their staffs to enroll in any new government-run health plan. Yet all Democrats — with the exceptions of acting chairman Chris Dodd, Barbara Mikulski and Ted Kennedy via proxy — voted nay. The Liar in Chief he cannot be trusted see for yourself in this video. As the Video points out - You know what they say about Dealing with the DEVIL! It took me less than a minute to sign up to require our congressmen and senators to drink at the same trough! Three cheers for Congressman John Fleming of Louisiana ! Watch this Marine school these clowns! I am against all of this government forced health care but hey if they

The Usurper Obama comes to Phoenix Arizona on 08/16/09. Chris is inspired to come to the demonstration and exercise His rights of Free Speech, which includes his RIGHT to carry a loaded AR 15 as well as his loaded Glock 17 a 9 millimeter handgun around while he is peacefully rallying for the rights of the individual. He encounters crowds of acorn sponsored astroturf who are only interested in utilizing the force of government to steal from one group (the Productive class) to give to the another group (the welfare class).   There are views of groups chanting for socialism, fascism and the nanny state welfare vs Freedom, individual rights and Responsibility. Our hero Chris does a few interviews with those that insist that when the government STEALS for a "good" cause that somehow negates the fact they had to steal the money in the first place!

Radical Thought

The loud and heated health care debate seems to largely have two camps – those arguing in favor of socialized care, managed by the government; the other stubbornly, even emotionally resisting it, but having little else to add.

Of those resisting it, it doesn’t seem that many are making productive suggestions that give American families much to noodle on if they rejected the socialized plan.

That’s why I was so pleased to see Whole Food’s CEO, John Mackey’s Op Ed piece, “The Whole Foods Alternative to ObamaCare”, in the August 11th edition of the Wall Street Journal.

Vancouver patients needing neurosurgery, treatment for vascular diseases and other medically necessary procedures can expect to wait longer for care, NDP health critic Adrian Dix said Monday. Dix said a Vancouver Coastal Health Authority document shows it is considering chopping more than 6,000 surgeries in an effort to make up for a dramatic budgetary shortfall that could reach $200 million. “This hasn’t been announced by the health authority … but these cuts are coming,” Dix said, citing figures gleaned from a leaked executive summary of “proposed VCH surgical reductions.” The health authority confirmed the document is genuine, but said it represents ideas only. “It is a planning document. It has not been approved or implemented,” said spokeswoman Anna Marie D’Angelo. Dr. Brian Brodie, president of the BC Medical Association, called the proposed surgical cuts “a nightmare.” “Why would you begin your cost-cutting measures on medically necessary surgery? I just can’t

Daschle says health-care reform "will not be pain free." Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them.    H.R. 1 (more commonly known as the Recovery and Reinvestment Act, even more commonly known as the Stimulus Bill and aptly dubbed the Porkulus Bill) contains a whopping $1.1 billion to fund the Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research. The Council is the brain child of former Health and Human Services Secretary Nominee Tom Daschle. Before the Porkulus Bill passed, Betsy McCaughey, former Lieutenant governor of New York, wrote in detail about the Council's purpose.

Special interests largely support reform, but Obama wishes they were enemies of progress.Obama's approach to pushing healthcare reform forward faces a major contradiction. See, generally speaking the current major stakeholders (the AMA, insurance companies, the drug lobby, etc.) favor some version of reform. But Obama wants them as enemies, because it's easier to blame them than it is to blame intransigent blue-dog democrats.

As the health reform fight shifts this month from a vacationing Washington to congressional districts and local airwaves around the country, much more of the battle than most people realize is already over. The likely victors are insurance giants such as UnitedHealth Group, Aetna, and WellPoint. The carriers have succeeded in redefining the terms of the reform debate to such a degree that no matter what specifics emerge in the voluminous bill Congress may send to President Obama this fall, the insurance industry will emerge more profitable. Health reform could come with a $1 trillion price tag over the next decade, and it may complicate matters for some large employers. But insurance CEOs ought to be smiling.

Six-thirty on a Sunday morning in Scottsdale, Arizona.  My wife and I are on our two-hour walk and far from home.  Cell phone rings.  Our 18-year-old son Chris is on the phone to tell us that he was out running in the neighborhood and was bitten by a dog that was being walked by its owner.

We tell him to get the owner’s name, phone number and the dog’s shot record, and then to go home and wash out the wound and put antiseptic on it.

After doing that, he calls back and thinks he might need to see a doctor.  Thanks to American health-care, we are able to tell him that
