Essentially we don't need the Federal Government any longer. If the States would simply add the Federal Constitution freedom tenets to their constitutions as locked-in, unchangeable tenets, we could totally eliminate the Federal Government, and do all things with State government contact between each other. Back when the US was started, this was not possible because of lack of rapid communications and transportation. But State governors have rapid communications today. Get rid of the Federal government and save a ton of money, and a ton of repression of State's rights. This would also get more State people into their government, because they would have more control.
