This convention is our one and only chance to unite. The LBT's and the Revolution have been "distant friends" for too long already. If we fall apart now, in another two years there won't be a freedom movement to keep building. Bob Barr can't unite us.... The question is.... Who Can???

For all practical purposes the second launch was a huge success. First stage worked flawlessly. Stage separation and second stage engine ignition. The only thing that went wrong was IMHO the second stage engine smacking hard against the first stage collet upon separation. There was notable orientation problems with the second stage resulting in ever wilder engine gyrations trying to compensate (?) for the second stage going off course until the engine shut down 90 seconds prematurely. [gyroscope?] We have not had a detailed after action analysis report on this mission from SpaceX ... and I hope one will be forthcoming. I am really looking forward to the next launch with the enhanced (read more efficient) engines. His three times was an estimate of remaining investment to get a successful system. Well, the second launch was very successful leading to new investment and sales. But it failed to get the satellite into orbit. There is no reason to believe the third try will not be successful.

The reason it's not a "Ron Paul March" is because of permits. We can't have a campaign rally at the capitol, and this just about him. Its about the ideas that he has really worked to make popular. If this was a Ron Paul March, then we would be done when the campaign was over, but we won't be. This is a REVOLUTION, not a blimp of activism.

Stephen Lendman is very devoted fan of Hugo Chavez. But his support comes more from a philosophical devotion to socialism. I encourage his writing here on FreedomsPhoenix because he does such a great job at giving us a peak into the mind of a devoted socialist. You don't need to read more than one of his articles to see how he thinks and what the underlying philosophy is.
I only wish we had as devoted of a Bush supporter that would grace us with their thoughts on a regular basis :)

Unfortunately, moving the date isn't possible. We didn't pick the date, it all came down to permits. Also, this isn't a "Ron Paul" march, instead, it's a march that advocates freedom, peace, and prosperity for all, through adherence to the Constitution. Ron Paul is our keynote speaker, and we are more than thrilled to have him there, but this is an idea that exceeds one person, group, or generation.
Also, it's not just another march and it's not about getting the president's attention. It's about getting the people's attention, and helping them learn how to cause civic and national change. This is a cornerstone event for major change, letting individuals know that we are here ready for the Constitution to be listened to again, and will be working for it day and night until true liberty is restored.
Anyways, hope that clears up some questions, and I'll edit the post so that it has this information in it.

I called and talked to Penny who is Sheila Polks assistant. I told her I had been following the case and they need to drop all charges. She said she would make no comment when I told her it could be you someday being pulled over and want to travel to a lighted area when being pulled over by a police officer.
