3TV: Pearce Bill Faces Constitutional Challenge

KTVK is reporting that the Pearce "Papers Please" law will face a "serious challenge..." many "lawmakers" have "serious constitutional concerns" regarding the sweeping changes first reported by Freedom's Phoenix. The ACLU seems to have jumped on the bandwagon as well, making media rounds to denounce these changes and that they will affect everyone. Also implied from the lame-stream report is the insinuation that, even if passed, many lawsuits could be pending already challenging the law on constitutional grounds. You may not be able to sue cops in AZ courts, but you could still bring a 42USC1983 on them in a federal court for wrongful detainment.
