Dallas sheriff steals 120,000, gets probation instead of jail

Former Dallas County Sheriff Brian Gilbert was put on probation today for the theft of $120,000 seized in a March 2006 traffic stop. Judge John Lloyd suspended the 10-year prison term,and put Gilbert on probation for five years.
