After the 2006 elections, there are a lot more "Blue dog" Democrats in Congress. Then the SCOTUS came out with the same answer as the pollsters have. This poll, intentional or not, is a shot across the bow of those who think We the People will accept a Holder as AJ, new gun controls, or a SCOTUS nominee that does not understand this simple Constitutional right. We don't need no stinkin' lawyers playing with clear words! Hear! Hear! Or, suffern the consequences, politicians!
