Jury deadlocks on 23 of 24 charges against Blagojevich

• AP

A federal jury deadlocked Tuesday on all but one of 24 charges against former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, including the most explosive of all -- that he tried to sell an appointment to President Barack Obama's old Senate seat. Blagojevich was convicted on a single count of lying to federal agents, one of the least serious charges.

Prosecutors pledged to retry the case as soon as possible.

This is why you never, ever, ever talk to agents of the government.  Never!

Blaggo should know better.  Now he gets 2-5 for being stupid instead of seeing whether the prosecutor wants to retry him.
