We have 20 of his stunning portraits, and his full set is worth checking out.
These pictures were captured in Los Angeles, Rome, Paris, London, Las Vegas, and Manchester. Jeffries' portraits are shot on location where ever he encounters a subject he wants to photograph. It requires vision, a skilled eye, and careful selection.
Jeffries' explained in an email:
"I think the overriding theme of my black and whites is emotion. Every image you see possesses it in one form or another. The images are my documents of the humanity I experience from my subjects long before I ever ask them for their portrait. I walk the streets gazing long and hard into eyes of passers by....looking for something I can't really describe, and when I do find it, I do try to capture what I witness in camera. The set is therefore all about the subjects."
