Wrong. Did you read the article? The abuse was reported directly to Joe Paterno who then refused to report it to Curley and Schultz so as not to "interfere with their weekends." That is beyond sick, despite who actually did the raping. Knowing something wrong is happening, especially to children, and doing nothing about it to protect the image of some football team is much more than negligent; it is criminal. Maybe he was a "decent man" who contributed to charity or whatever, but that does not make up for the ruined lives of those raped children that he could have prevented if he actually cared about human life more than a mindless sport. All evil takes to flourish is for good men to stand by and do nothing.
first off anyone who thinks rape is acceptable should be strung up and shot, but joe pa and his family are not to blame yes they could of done more , but he wasnt the one doing the raping , the paternos are great people they pour there own money in that school and the woman releasing this to papers is just looking to make money off of this , it is a great school they have more grads then many others . The higher officals than joe paterno should be held accountable there are many sides to every story , dont go on what MSM is saying.
