Tom Taylor and Russell Davis want to help you print a newspaper. Like, an old-fashioned, ink-on-newsprint paper newspaper. Alongside co-founder Ben Terrett and the team at Newspaper Club, they offer their customers the ability to make a custom, physical publication. They’ll ship it just about anywhere in the world and they even offer online tools for layout and proofing.
At a time when publications are rushing to digital-first or even digital-only distribution, as print revenues collapse, this seems like a strange move for an internet startup made up of British software and design nerds. “Partly, I think, we’re just slightly contrary British folk,” says Taylor.
