Philadelphia abortion clinic horror: Column
• USA TodayInfant beheadings. Severed baby feet in jars. A child screaming after it was delivered alive during an abortion procedure. Haven't heard about these sickening accusations?
It's not your fault. Since the murder trial of Pennsylvania abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell began March 18, there has been precious little coverage of the case that should be on every news show and front page. The revolting revelations of Gosnell's former staff, who have been testifying to what they witnessed and did during late-term abortions, should shock anyone with a heart.

Look, "abortion" can take place only during the first trimester of pregnancy -- during which the object in a woman's uterus is properly called an "embryo", and is certainly not a human being. After the third month, any such operation becomes dangerous to the mother, and *no reputable or ethical doctor will do it* for any cause less than a direct threat to the mother's health. After the sixth month, the fetus finally develops a complete human brain, can survive outside mother's body -- in special care units for premature babies -- and is technically a human being. In other words, removing a fetus from the uterus -- for any reason less than a threat to the mother -- after the end of the third month is dangerous and unethical, and after the end of the sixth month is infanticide. I don't know what those fool doctors were thinking, performing such operations, but they deserve to be punished to the full extent of the law.
