New York Law Would Make it Felony to Annoy Cops

• Photography Is Not a Crime

New York politicians are hoping to pass a bill that would make it a felony to “harass, annoy or threaten” a cop in the line of duty, which would no doubt be used against citizens who record cops in public.

If passed, citizens convicted of the law could find themselves sentenced to four years in prison.

Too bad the law just doesn't say "threaten with use of force". This cop supremacist legislation sounds like they stole an idea from ISLAM. Call it Copophobia :) Time to get out the vids of Sylvester Stallone starring as Judge Dredd :)

If the law gets passed and the police use it to create a fascist police state, the likely reaction would be not just overturning it, but passing a new law that nobody can be prosecuted for anything they do to a cop in the line of duty :)

New York City didn't even have a police dept. until 1844.
