Obama waives ban on arming terrorists to allow aid to Syrian opposition

President Obama waived a provision of federal law designed to prevent the supply of arms to terrorist groups to clear the way for the U.S. to provide military assistance to "vetted" opposition groups fighting Syrian dictator Bashar Assad.

The authority of Congress is behind Obama. It isn't Obama that is the bad guy. It's Congress that has the control. They could reign Obama in, defund defense, pull any number of rugs out from under his feet... if they really wanted to. Sure, Obama is the bad guy. But he is also the fall guy. Congress is the BIG BADs.

by what authority does the occupier of the oval office declare that a legislated law is not applicable ??
