Tahoe Property Purchased for 1.6 Million in Bitcoin

A luxury retreat called Martis Camp near Lake Tahoe has sold their final 1.4 acre undeveloped plot. The land was sold for 1.6 million dollars and the transaction was handled via BitPay. The previous known record for propery purchased with bitcoin was a villa valued $500,000 in Bali this past spring.
