Every month since the recent economic recession in America, the Bureau of Labor Statistics releases their newest jobs report. And every month, right on cue, economists and financial experts pour over the data and make their predictions for the future of the country?s economy.
But a recent Gallup poll is suggesting, they could have been looking at the wrong numbers all along.
According to the Social Security Administration, more than FIFTY PERCENT of all EMPLOYED Americans are STILL living in poverty. That?s not even counting the unemployed, or the people who stopped looking for work altogether.
The alarming number of Americans living paycheck to paycheck is only surpassed by the number of low to mid-level income jobs being gobbled up by self-automated machines and robots. It sounds so futuristic, but it?s happening. Already, 20 percent of American families don?t have a single member with a job.
