Among other inspiring events this past year, the fast food Giant McDonald's has experienced a dramatic drop in its sales at the near-end of the first quarter of 2015. Growing awareness about McDonald's poor quality food, or rather overly synthetic products, have people wondering: why do we even eat here in the first place?

As organic and health conscious food becomes in vogue, the consumers of the world have been challenging food conglomerates such as McDonald's, Kraft, and Monsanto, to be more in alignment with decent principles such as food honesty, purity, and safety.

Kraft has recently said that it would remove its artificial flavors and coloring from its "fun" brands, a big step for this corporation, which is setting an example for others in similarly wholesome fields of food production. Lynn Galia, A spokesperson for Kraft, is quoted as saying, "Parents have told us that they would like fun Mac & Cheese varieties with the same great taste, but with improved nutrition."
