DARPA's Micro-Chipped Super Soldiers Ready in a Couple of Years

Take a second to reflect upon those words and their implications...

For me, the headline triggered a flurry of old memories. First, was the recollection of a conversation I had once more than 10 years ago with a former military soldier who told me in confidence that he honestly believed that he had been micro-chipped against his will during his service. Second, was the "neighborhood schizophrenic" who lived a few houses down from my ex-girl friend's house. The only time I had ever seen the guy was when he had threatened two private utility workers with a hatchet that if they came on to his property that he would kill them. The workers were allegedly installing "cable TV service" in the area and their van was parked in front of his house. The police were called and the "schizophrenic" was taken away. According to the rumors in the neighborhood, he was also former military living on disability and claimed that he had been micro-chipped by the military and that he was continually being harassed by the voice commands still coming from the chip. Of course, no one believed him. After all, he was clearly a "paranoid schizophrenic." Right?!

Perhaps he was, but why are we so quick to conclude that people who make such claims are just crazy? Could it be the plethora of films and mass culture that have conditioned us all to think this way? The first example that comes to my mind was the 2007 movie BUG staring Ashley Judd and Michael Shannon. What made this movie so malevolent is how it draws the unsuspecting viewer in at the beginning only to take you down a rabbit hole to HELL cleverly designed to leave you so psychologically traumatized that you will certainly never trust anyone who claims to have been micro chipped by the government or any "conspiracy theory" for that matter! Even an LA Weekly movie critic wrote "Our traumatized soldiers deserve better representation than this irretrievably ridiculous drama", but missed the opportunity to call it out for what it was - another Hollywood produced mind traumatizing psyOP disguised as "entertainment."

Well, enough of my ranting. Read all about the DARPA press release yourself by following the link below, but don't be fooled by the "Oh, we are just doing this to help those who suffer from PTSD" BS! First of all, PTSD is NOT a F*cking disorder! Its a NORMAL reaction to severe, often inhumane, psychological trauma. And second of all, those at DARPA behind this inhuman cyborg madness don't have a compassionate bone in their body!

NOTE: While suffering from war related psychological trauma can be very difficult and we should all be willing to help those who suffer from it, calling it a "disorder" only stigmatizes the problem and keeps those who suffer from getting help. But don't take my word for it, listen to what Staff Sergeant and Medal of Honor winner Ty Carter said about PTSD:

"If you just call it stress, [which is] what it really is, it explains the fact that it's a natural reaction to a traumatic experience. It's our body's and mind's natural reaction to try and remember and avoid those situations."
