Feeling that he was neutered while serving as Trump's chief strategist, he departed the administration to unleash holy hell on the reviled GOP establishment. Feeling momentum after Judge Roy Moore defeated establishment-backed incumbent Luther Strange in a Republican Senate primary election in Alabama last month, Bannon is planning to rock the establishment to its core in 2018.
"Karl Rove, Steven Law – these guys should get the joke," Bannon said during an interview with Sean Hannity on his FOX News program. "Their donors are coming to us because they are tired of having their money burned up by trying to destroy people like Judge Moore."
"There's a new game in town. We are to cut off the oxygen to Mitch McConnell. Mitch McConnell's biggest asset is the money. We're going to make it the biggest liability. We are going after these guys tooth and nail."
